Riot Games is an American video game developer, publisher, and esports tournament organiser based in Los Angeles, California.

Renowned for its blockbuster title, League of Legends—a game that has captivated millions of players since its launch and consistently ranks among the top 10 most played video games year after year.

Beyond its gaming success, Riot Games has also shaped the eSports scene worlwide, organizing prestigious tournaments like the League of Legends World Championship and the Championship Series across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Our mission was to collaborate with the Brazilian office of Riot Games to reimagine the CBLoL portal (Official Brazilian Championship of League of Legends) — a crucial platform for the passionate Brazilian League of Legends community.

The aim was to create a portal that not only reflects the vibrant energy of the eSports scene but also serves as the definitive destination for all things League of Legends related in Brazil.

Impact

✅  Enhanced User Experience: The redesigned portal saw a significantly increase in user sessions within the first three months, indicating higher engagement and satisfaction. (Concrete numbers not allowed to be shared due to NDA.)

✅  Community Hub: The CBLoL portal became the new go-to site for the Brazilian League of Legends community, with qualitative user feedback highlighting its ease of use.

✅  Consistency with Global Standards: We have aligned the design with Riot Games’ global brand, the CBLoL portal started presenting an unified look and feel that resonates with the global League of Legends websites.

Other initiatives

Following the positive impact of the Redesign of the Portal on both the client and end users, we successfully earned their trust and secured additional projects with Riot Games.

This led to our involvement in enhancing the user experience across other channels, including the Mobile App, which became the official app during the Championship in Brazil.
